Product Description

In this class we will be covering the following:

Choosing what knife to use for you - Bolster vs no bolster

Proper/improper cutting surfaces

Different types of knives; Chef/ Santoku/Nakiri

Slicing vs. up down motion

2-3x length of object you're cutting

How to hold the knife

How to hold the food

How to slice, chop, core

You will be:

  • slicing 1 pepper
  • dicing1/2 red onion
  • coring and chopping a yellow onion
  • cutting meat and prepping for stir fry

Cleaning and storing
