August 23rd @ 6:00 PM - A TASTE OF PERU: Lomo Saltado with Jacob


Lomo Saltado is a popular, traditional Peruvian dish. It is a stir fry that typically combines marinated strips of sirloin (or other beef steaks) with onions, tomatoes, french fries, and other ingredients and is typically served with rice. In addition, you will also learn how to make Aji Verde which is a spicy Peruvian green sauce made with cilantro, jalapeños, and mayonnaise.

About the Chef...  Jacob Garcia is from Anaheim, California and loves cooking and eating food! He comes from a Hispanic background with specialty experience in Mexican and South American foods. He is a Communication Studies major at Utah State and also plays on the football team.

Time: 1 ½ - 2 hours 

Cost: $55 per person
