Product Description

This is a great class for learning basic knife skills and how to care for your knife. We will supply the knives and cutting surfaces, but you are welcome to bring your own.

 

We will be covering the following:

  • Types of Knives - Chef, Santoku, Nakiri, etc
  • How to choose your knife (Bolster vs. No Bolster)
  • How to hold your knife
  • How to slice, chop, and core
  • Proper/Improper cutting surfaces
  • Cleaning and storing your knife

 

You will leave this class with veggies and meat (that you have sliced and diced) to prepare your own stir fry. 

Class will last approximately 45-60 minutes. Bring your own apron!
