January 21st @ 6:00 PM - How to Bake Delicious Bread with Kamut Flour with Sarah

$60.00

Thanks to The Food Nanny, kamut flour is growing rapidly in popularity for it’s health benefits and for the delicious nutty, buttery flavor it gives to breads!

Kamut is the ancient Egyptian word for "wheat." Unlike our modern-day wheat, Kamut flour has never been genetically modified, therefore it naturally has more protein, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. Not only does Kamut have great health benefits, but it also tastes amazing and makes bread and rolls extra fluffy and tender.

Come try it out for yourself and learn more about the benefits of this ancient "wheat" in this fun, informative hands-on class.

About the Chef... Sarah Parslow is a wonderful baker and so knowledgable about sourdough and Kamut. She has nearly a thousand loaves notched on her belt. She did not eat them all, thank goodness, but has loved giving them away to unsuspecting neighbors, friends, postal workers, and strangers she has met on her morning walks.
